What would be a good birthday gift for my hubby?
Question:
What would be a good birthday gift for my hubby?
He isn’t much into “stuff” & doesn’t usually appericate the meaning behind something sentimental. He has most everything he wants already… Direct TV with the sports packages, XM for the car, beautiful cufflinks, ect…
He is BIG into food- I make this fantastic inside out German chocolate torte for his day… it is very time consuming so I only make it for his birthday.
The kids usually git him cute little things, like a ball or game to play with him… our oldest wants to make him a blanket from fleece that is printed with his favorite team.
I am at a loss! We have been together for 11 years- married for 8 & I am on a very limited budget. (his b-day gift has to come out of my “mad money” account)
I have tried the sweet approach like running a bubble bath & enjoying it with him, making coupons, offering massages… (those are the sentimental things I refered to earlier). Last year I sent him to a pro football game with a buddy- but that exceeds my budget this year
(
thanks for all of your input…
I ende dup ordering a rawlings leather wallet he;s been wanting (it has some of the same charcteristics of a ball glove)

why dont you just get him some money or a gift card and let him get something for himself, that might help out.
Buy him a gift certificate to Home Depot so he can choose whatever he likes. I was going to suggest a dinner out at a favourite restaurant, but your budget seemed a little limited. Good luck.
candle night dinner.
Try asking your husband what he would enjoy or like for his birthday. You could even act like you are so busy, that you forgot his birthday and maybe surprise him with a few of his good friends, or someone he hasnt seen in a while.
Since he loves food, why don’t you make a gourmet dinner to go along with that fantastic-sounding cake? He would love it, and then you could maybe take him to the movies and come home later to give him a full body massage.
get him a couple of nice cigars maybe, or if he likes sports a years subscription to ESPN the magazine. Getting a gift that keeps coming is always nice!
how abt cologne … thats simple and not expensive or many little gifts like airfreshener for the car, a radar perhaps and put in all together … hope i helped a little =0)
